Paper 2

For this paper you will need to pick a hoax, myth, mania, or conspiracy theory (it does not have to be in the United States.) In 1500-2500 words you will need to explore the topic you have chosen and inform your audience. You will need to research the history of the event, the culture at the time, what perpetuates it as a hoax, myth, mania, etc. Look into race, gender, fears or taboos of the times, socioeconomic, and religious factors that contribute to your topic. 

You will need four sources and will have to cite in text and have a work cited page. Do not use Wikipedia. We will be discussing valid sources and how to find them on the library research page found in Canvas. Completed rough draft due April 13th. Final draft is due April 27th. As usual have fun and use logic.
