Module 3: Stakeholders in the Community

Lesson Objectives:

After completing this module, students will be able to successfully:

1. Describe and name the role of specific stakeholders in the community
2. Describe and discuss the major functions  of Emergency Management
3. Analyze a community and determine its makeup
4. When given a scenario, determine appropriate communication techniques.

To Do List:

1)  Complete the reading, viewing, and interactive material inside the reading and resource folder

2)  Write a second paper;  Using the disaster you wrote about in week one, research the community and explain who the different stakeholders are in the community,  Submit assignment in Turnitin Drop Box first. When you receive a "Green" originality report, submit the assignment in the week 3 written assignment drop box.

3)  Participate in the two weekly discussions as directed.
