Written Assignment - Write a paper on the stakeholders

Remember the disaster you choose in the first lesson.  This is a second installment on the paper you wrote in week one;

 

Narrow down to one community;  A town, city, or County.   Do research on the dominant organizations in that community.  Look up any professional and social service organizations in the community, and compile a community profile.

Categorize the community groups into groups with similar missions or which provide similar services, i.e.  How many medical providers are there, broken down in to hospitals, emergency clinics, and doctors; How many schools are there, what are the dominant businesses and how do they break down?

Then propose some ways an Emergency Manager could communicate with the groups to prepare them for coordinated response in an emergency.

The paper should be no less than 1,000 words. 

The paper must be in APA format and it will require in-text citations for all facts and quotes you include.  If you links, identify where the reader is going and why.
